New Water Billing
- The new utilities billing ordinance is now in effect for the City of Nezperce.
- The old bill had a 90 day shut off period for late payment – the new ordinance has a 45-day shut off period.
- When a payment is missed for one month – the FULL amount (past due and current bill) is due by the next deadline.

Large Garbage Dumpsters
- The dumpsters by the Nezperce School may be used. The brown dumpster is for household garbage and the white dumpster is for yard debris.
- If you are doing a construction project, you are required to get your own dumpster. If anyone needs assistance in removing large items from their yard, please contact City Hall.
- Also, if anyone would like to help pick up garbage along the roads, safety vests, bags and signage are needed and City Hall can help you get these.
- Thank you for your cooperation and let’s make Nezperce look as good as possible all year round.
Dog Tags (Annually)
- Dog Tags are available at Nezperce City Hall.
- Dog tags must be purchased each year at a cost of - $5 first dog; $10 second dog and $15 third dog.
Gazebo or the Performance Stage in Memorial Park
- If interested in holding an event/activity that involves the gazebo or performance stage in Memorial Park – Please contact Nezperce City Hall to make sure no one else has something planned.
Online Utility Payment
Register and pay your City of Nezperce utility bills at the link below. To register, you will have to contact the City in person or by phone – (208) 937-1021 – to receive your Web ID.
Nezperce RV Park
- The RV Park is located at 412 4th Avenue (north of Memorial Park–aka Lions Park, and south of the airport) with 9 spaces and is open year round.
RESERVATIONS FOR RV SPACES ARE ONLY TAKEN FOR PRAIRIE DAYS & THE LEWIS COUNTY FAIR
- Rent is $30 a night, which includes: water, sewer, trash and electricity.
- Restrooms, which include showers, are available at the park. Children and pets are welcome, with a quiet time between 10 p.m. and 6 a.m.

Community Room
The Nezperce Community Center is located at 602 4th Ave., Nezperce. The center is available for rent. The room includes items available for use, six 6-foot tables (two adjustable height), two 6-foot round tables, three card tables, maximum 50 chairs, white easel board, media cart, pull down screen, podium, small kitchenette w/microwave and refrigerator.
The City Council has put together a rental agreement/policy to cover the use of the Community Room. This a truly wonderful meeting place for all who may wish to use it for any number of activities.

Legion Hall
- In 2023, the American Legion officially gave the Legion Hall property at 420 Maple Street to the City of Nezperce. To schedule an event, call City Hall at 208-937-1021 or email [email protected].
Parks
Nezperce has four city parks: Nezperce Memorial Park, located along the banks of Long Hollow Creek, has a large picnic pavilion, children’s play area and a covered performance stage with storage and dressing rooms. Trees honoring departed citizens are planted in this park.
The Garden Club recently redesigned and maintains a small park across Oak Street from the library. Another park with tennis courts, basketball courts, and more playground equipment along with picnic and BBQ facilities is located a few blocks south.
Two baseball fields are available in Nezperce. Lions Field is located on the corner of 4th Avenue and Cedar Street. Nezperce Schools also has a baseball field.
The school also features a community pool that is open during the summer.

Airport
The Nezperce Municipal Airport is a publicly owned, general aviation airport located on the northern edge of the community. The airport is owned and operated by the City of Nezperce and has a single asphalt runway. The airport primarily supports agricultural spraying operations and recreational flying. The airport also occasionally supports medical transportation and U.S. Forest Service firefighting operations. The airport has completed multiple improvement projects in recent years including a fog seal, which increases the quality and lifespan of pavement. Businesses located at the airport are Kuther Air Services and CJ Air, both of which conduct aerial agricultural spraying.
